Bo Hickman founded Hickman Residential, LLC in 2007 in order to continue to provide the highest level of customer service in residential contracting.

Bo has been building and developing in Atlanta since 1985.  With the founding in 1988 of Hickman Properties, Inc., he became a pioneer in the re-emerging markets of Atlanta’s intown neighborhoods with custom home and small site townhome developments.

Building upon that legacy, Swan, Inc., Builders was formed in 1988 with Bo as a principal and president, and he continued to develop new single and multi family homes while adding high value renovation to his portfolio. In 2002 he won the prestigious Atlanta Urban Design Commission’s Award of Excellence for quality infill design and construction.

An active member of the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association, Bo served as the president of the Inner Atlanta Chapter in 2007. He has worked closely with Atlanta officials on many of the development issues that affect our city.

Bo Hickman is a native of Atlanta who attended the Westminster Schools and received a degree in finance from the University of Virginia.  He currently lives in Atlanta with his wife and two children where he is active within his neighborhood and community.
